Have you ever found yourself talking to or treating your husband as though he is one of your children?
Me, too.
I’m guest posting today at The Better Mom, talking about how we can ensure we are a wife first, mom second. Its amazing how badly things get out of whack when we put our lives in any different order. (I’m speaking from experience and need grace daily!!) Come on over and join the conversation!

I read the post over at TBM before you linked up. I gotta say I loved it. The picture is the best.
Thank you so much.

Haha! Thanks! Yeah, I nearly spewed hot tea everywhere when I found that pic. Perfect illustration, if I say so myself. 😉
I found your link on Growing Home and just loved your post. My oldest is four and such a big helper. Sometimes, when my husband wants to help me, I’m tempted to let him know that my four year old is actually more adept in the kitchen. But efficiency is not always important. He wants to spend time with me as we clean up together, and *that* is much more important!

Thank you so much!! Yes, sometimes I’m so “peopled out” by the end if the day the last thing I want to do is expend more effort and energy into another person, but it’s so worth it!
Great post! Thought-provoking and full of wonderful reminders!
