When You’re Under It All

Have you ever been buried under such stress or grief or burden that you weren’t sure you could function throughout your own day, let alone care for your kids?

I have. In fact, one day not too long ago I could barely breathe. I had no idea how I was going to get through the day. And I really had no earthly idea how I was going to invest my heart and soul into my kids…because quite honestly my heart and soul was so buried I couldn’t even find it.

But God, in His infinite grace, brought me through that day. Today I’m over at Intentional by Grace sharing how He brought me through that day. I hope you will find hope for your dark days. And share your own story of how you’ve made it through the days under which you’re buried beyond recognition.

If you’re joining me today from Intentional by Grace, thank you so very much for stopping by! You are so very welcome here! Make yourself comfortable, grab a cuppa and stay awhile!

  1. Oh Jen,
Of course I don’t know what made your heart so heavy. I am so sorry though, and Pray that God iswill shine His light on the circumstances. I have had many days like that. God is always faithful even when I crumble under a burden.

      1. I was just sitting here thinking “how should I reply?” I looked at my verse of the day flip calendar. Here’s what it says: “Many are saying to me, ‘there is no help for you in God’ ( I hope that is not true for you …) but you, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. I cry aloud to the Lord, and He answers me from HIs holy hill. ” Psalm 3:3-4 NRSV
God”s blessings on you and your family. Slan, Heather
